Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) Division Apps

Consular Services Management System (MADAD) has been setup forIndian Citizens to log and track Grievances pertaining to theConsular Services offered by the Indian Embassies (Missions/Posts)abroad. Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) with a view to providemobile enablement of MADAD, has launched MADAD Mobile Applicationon Android, iOS, and Windows platforms. Grievances regardingCompensation, Court Case, Domestic Help, Imprisoned Abroad,Transportation of Mortal Remains, Repatriation, Salary Dues,Tracing the Whereabouts, Marital Disputes, Birth Certificate, NoObligation to Return to India (NORI) Certificate, Asylum-Cases,Worker Abuse, Recruiting Agent, Contract Problems, Physical Abuse,Sexual Abuse and Sponsor Problems will be lodged.Grievances/queries related to Visa and Passport, Emergency TravelDocuments, and Attestation of Documents are not entertained throughthe MADAD system. Passport Seva Project, being executed by Consular, Passport andVisa(CPV) division of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA),Governmentof India, aims at providing all the Passport-relatedservices to theIndian Citizens in a speedy, convenient andtransparent manner. Thisis one of the largest projects of theGovernment of India under theNational e-Governance Plan (NeGP)being executed inpublic-private-partnership mode with TataConsultancy Services (TCS)as the private partner. The project isalready operational andservicing citizens through 77 Passport SevaKendras across India.MEA with a view to provide mobile enablementof public services, haslaunched a Mobile Application ‘mPassportSeva’ to offer a widevariety of services to smartphone users suchas Passport applicationstatus tracking, locating the Passport SevaKendra (PSK) and generalinformation on various steps involved inobtaining a Passport.
